Sintra - Hotel Tivoli Palacio de Seteais

Has anyone stayed at the Palacio de Seteais on one of their 2-3 day package deals ? The hotel looks great and the package deals are appealing. Does anyone have any advice or experience of this hotel ? Thank you for your help.

Years ago I stayed in the quinta (villa) right next door the the Seteais; we had a drink there and it looked fabulous. Sintra, if you haven't been there, is a lovely place.

Thanks for your post Annabelle.I know some people complain about the walk into the main part of Sintra but it seems like a relatively short distance on the map. I would be very interested to hear from anyone who has taken the package deals which appear well thought out.

Does anyone know anything about Hotel Tivoli Palacio de Seteais. I made a reservation three days ago for August and so far no reply. I wonder if the lights are still on ? Has anyone stayed there before and can comment ???

I am having some doubts whether it is worthwhile visiting Lisbon and in particular Hotel Tivoli Palacio de Seteais in Sintra. The intinerary would be so much easier without Portugal before Madrid and Seville or Seville and Madrid in that order.

Are you there ThinGorjus ? Maybe you can reassure me that we should go to Sintra ??? and then take the great Lusitania Express overnight train to Madrid.
