Siena Hotels

Message: I am looking for a hotel close to Il Campo. The only hotel that is close, and seems to be universally recommended is Hotel Duomo, which is fully booked. I am open to considering other areas of the town.
Thanks

We stayed at Palazzo Ravizza and enjoyed it. The location is excellent. The walk to Il Campo was about ten minutes.

They have breakfast in a lovely garden (or indoors if you prefer), a wonderful restaurant and other rooms just to relax in. They also have parking.

We booked at the last minute while in Florence and got the tiniest room which was fine for us. But next time, I would select something nicer. Take a look at their Web site for more information.

We also stayed at Palazzo Ravizza. Loved the restaurant and the garden in the rear. I would book a room on the garden side, because the street side can be noisy. It was a very short walk to Il Campo.

We also were pleased with Palazzo Ravizza. We had a room facing the garden and it had a wonderful view of the country side. Our room was a nice size, but I can't recall the room number. Be sure to read the ratings on this hotel in the Rants and Raves section. The restaurant is quite good.
