I agree with Dayle, nothing in car unless the parking lot has attendants there.

Dayle - we also left our car with our luggage unattended in Castiglione with no problem. Of course you have to realise you are taking a risk, but nothing like the risk you take in Palermo or Catania, where I'm not sure I'd leave a car on the street let alone leave anything in it!
