waring, I'm not sure to understand the tone of your last post (my English is certainly not as good as your French)

My intent was not to criticize you but to bring some correction to the correction of Coco (who is French)

Your "il y a pas mal de gens ici" IS correct

I have to say that Akar is right about "pas mal de". In that case it is not a negative sentence but it means "beaucoup de". Il y a beaucoup de gens...
I swear I didn't have a Kir before correcting waring :-"!
The "pas" misled me and since we often skip the "ne" in spoken French I simply added "n'"!
Then obviously sentence 3 is right.
"Diverses" of courses the capital E swallowed my s!

Pas prof du tout. Je m'aperçois en me relisant que j'ai l'air bien sérieux. J'aurais peut-être dû rajouter quelques smileys.

A toi aussi et merci de remettre les pendules à l'heure! On veut bien faire et on se rend compte qu'on a toujours des lacunes, ça permet de rester humble!
