In reading the thread on what's left to do in London, I came across a reference to this Hindu temple. The website makes it look fantastic and I'm now very interested in seeing it. problem is, London remains a mystery to me with all it's named neighborhoods, etc. and my Michelin map of London doesn't show NW10 which is where this place is. It's on Brentfield Rd near either the Neasden or Wembley Park tube stations but I can't find them either. Can someone help me figure out how far out of central London this place is and how much of a hassle it would be to get there by tube, bus or whatever? Thanks for any help you can provide.

Neasden's on the Jubilee Line, about 20 mins north of Baker St. Wembley Park is too, but it's also about 7 minutes on a Metropolitan Line tube. Virtually effortless, but the connecting buses might be a tad messier

It's not in the best area but having seen it (thanks to a cab driver deciding to take me on a sightseeing tour!) it is beautiful. It's quite a way out but not that difficult on the tube. Your best bet is to go to www.tfl.gov.uk and use the journey planner to get the directions from where you're staying.

It's in a grotty area but is perfectly safe. It's about 8-9miles-ish out of central London ? about 30 mins by tube from, say, Green Park, on the Jubilee line.

FYI Wembley Park tube station is closed for the next 18 months while they're rebuilding it, so plan your journey without it.
