Shoot me in Rome/Florence please?
My dear Fodors family,
I am getting back to Europe after being unwell for a long stretch of two years and cannot tell you the joy of going to Rome and Florence for 10 days with my 87-year-old Dad, 10-year-old son and my 40+ DH! I have been able to gather all trip-related inputs by reading so many of your posts ( a big thanks). To make the trip more special, I wanted to get to find some help with photographers and hence the requests:
1. I need help with getting a family shoot done in either Rome or Florence. I am looking for someone to take us around the city over a couple of hours and capture some family portraits - I love pictures with my boys but being the photographer, I am always missing in them...hence the request. Please share recommendations and experiences if any.
2. I am a photographer and am looking at photo walks to capture these two cities from unusual places - like a local would know and do. Any recommendations for walks done? I am OK with tourist places or local ideas...the idea is to see it like a local would show a friend.

You might look at a website like italymagazine.com or some other ex pat blog/website. italymagazine has a community link, and people post questions about all sorts of things. You might get a suggestion from there. I did a google search of " guide photographer in Rome" and up popped some names.
