Baloney! This was a replica burnt on purpose to mark the 200th anniversary of Nelson's victory at Trafalgar. Jsmith -- go back to selling your books, newspapers, and tourist trinkets.

Wasn't this done as a Cancer Raising Fund? I think I saw something that it was. Some fellow in HongKong did a bid and won the "prize"..and consequently this replica was burned.

Why do you think I gave the website? Thought a little humor might be welcome on a Saturday night but apparently too much for some. Lighten up.

The great-great-great grandfather of Torrington Cavaliers' project manager Dick Matthews, 62, had been a cabin boy on Nelson's flagship."
Isn't that great?!

"Since being founded 35 years ago, the group has become known for building and firing some of the country's most spectacular bonfires. "
Isn't that great too!!

Thanks jsmith...I got it

Hello jsmith, I sure wasn't "putting you down". I didn't go on the website, I merely posted what I had read "somewhere" on the web. Hope that you are not upset at my post. Best wishes to you.

Smitty: you have freedom of speech, but you cannot yell "fire" in a crowded theater. Humor? Twisted.

I suggest, USNR, you immediately send an email to the BBC, get on the phone or picket their headquarters. They are using this leader today. By God, they're are totally irresponsible.

"What the blazes! Nelson's Victory goes up in flames"
