Shirt from the UK

I have a shirt from the UK. Boden, specifically. I need to wash it for the first time and the tag says, "Do not use biological washing powder". Ok, I won't!

What the heck is biological washing powder?

It's a powder that you use to wash your biologicals, silly.

Actually, it's one of those detergents with stain-removing enzymes.

See, there's another huge cultural chasm.

We've had biological powder here for years, and it's horrid. You don't even HAVE it!!

mind blowing; just mind blowing.

use any "normal" US stuff- tide, etc... I usually don't put my boden stuff in the dryer (tumble dry).
