But the pills are £12.50 each! No bint's worth that.

This will be the least successful test in history.

They'll only sell you these pills if you've got low to medium blood pressure. And it's impossible to go into Boots without your blood pressure going through the roof, since you can never find anything unless you're one of those women who practically live in the place. ("Just popping into Boots" is a phrase no man is capable of saying)

So a lot of Manchester ladies are going to be very disappointed this Valentine's Day. Let's see how Coronation Street covers that.

Yeah, well I'm sure the bints are willing to cough - at least eventually they might get some return on their investment.

I had a very embarrassing time in Boots recently when I was trying to buy Benelyn, Paracetemol (for my cold) and razor blades (for husband) - they seemed to think I was on some kind of suicide mission. They were refusing to seel me all three. I had to ask for the pharmacist.

I think that rather than pay out £12.50 a pill, I'll just have sex with a bird I actually fancy.

Then spend the money on beer.

My favourite scottish slang term for women is "Manto" (from Mantovani which you have to say in a scottish accent)

Some of the Glasgow slang is really very funny. I used to be called " hen" quite a lot but they pronounced it " hin" .. Ah ya gotta love the scots.

"Hen" is not just heard in Glasgow. I'm not sure that it is slang, more part of the dialect.

I always manage to have embarrassing Boots experiences as I (a man) always end up wandering through the feminine hygenie sections. You'd think I would learn, but it always seems to be the case.
