Hi DSinger,
The speediest way from the airport to the Hotel Amadeus is to take a taxi. There is now a flat rate of 18 € to any downtown hotel, but 20 € on Sun./holidays/after 10 p.m. There will also be a slight surcharge for any piece of luggage stored in the trunk.
Just hand the taxi driver the address of the Amadeus. I suspect that most know it by heart by now, but the hotel is tucked away in a narrow alley in the heart of the Santa Cruz quarter.

I agree with Maribel. It's a little bit difficult to find on foot. The Santa Cruz area is full of lovely winding laneways- you'll get lost -everybody does!.
Hope you enjoy the hotel. We had a peak at it and it looked beautiful inside, with classical music playing in the foyer.
It also has a lovely view from the rooftop.
We loved Sevilla...hope you do too!

I dropped my rental car off at the airport and then took the bus into the city, got off at the Santa Cruz area and took a cab to the Hotel Amadeus. I was really only a few blocks away, sorry Maribel but not all the drivers know it, we must have past it six times before the cab driver figured it out, he had to call. Enjoyed the location. Good Luck
