Seeking Clifford Manor in Stratford

We spent our first anniversary
in the late 80's at Clifford Manor
in Stratford (England). Does anyone
know what is the current name
of this property. It was once a
monastery. I would love to give
a couple of night's lodging there
as a gift, but can't find the current name.
Thanks for any leads.

It could have been bought out by a hotel chain and changed names - or it could have closed. Was it actually IN Stratford-upon-Avon or outside of town? (assuming you mean that Stratford and not one of the several other Stratford-something's in England)

In any case - I'd contact the TIC and ask them

Thanks. It was about a 10 minute
car trip to the Swan in Stratford-on-
Avon.

It sounds like it might have been Clifton Manor in Clifton Chambers, in which case I suspect it's now in private hands.

You are most kind to help me.
It was a very elegant property
and the hospitality was most
welcoming. I wanted to offer the
same gift to other friends. Thanks
for responding.
