Bath shop in Hallstatt

One of my fodorite buddies, jenblase, emailed me about the bath/body shop I visited in Hallstatt in April. She wants to know the name, and unfortunately I am not good at these things and have no idea. I'm hoping somebody will chime in with the name.

Hallstatt is tiny, so I would assume that this is probably the only bath/body shop there. Its on the main street running through town, and it's kind of on the other side of town, on your right just before you walk out of the little downtown area if you are headed towards the salt mine and park. There were huge barrels of fragrant bath salts made with the famous Hallstatt salt, as well as body creams, gels, soaps annd such. I purchased a few items that smelled absolutely heavenly.

So, anyone know the name and, more importantly, if it will be open in December when Jen is there?

Thanks!
Tracy

I know exactly which shop you are asking about but I have no idea what the name is! I tried searching for it online but couldn't find anything.

Perhaps you can email one of the hotels and ask them?

Thanks molker for the Hallstatt tourist office # and thanks Tracy for posting this!!

I'm sure I will be able to find it but I will call ahead anyway, to see if I can get their opening hours.

We were there in early May of this past year, before tourist season had really set in, and the shop was open

Thanks Jill! I still use soap from that store and it makes my bathroom smell delightful. Every time I take a bath I'm reminded of Hallstatt!

In case anyone else is interested!
They are open every day from 10:00 - 18:00.

I bought some soaps there last year. It was late October and they were open. I loved that little shop!

Jen, I'm so glad you found the name. Wow...I can't believe your trip is already almost here! Time certainly does fly. Can't wait to hear about it when you get back!

Enjoy!
