See'in the Shows!
I'm going back to London this summer for the 4th time and would like to The Phantom of The Opera. When should I buy tickets? Should I buy them at the web-site? Is the show as good as it was 18 years ago?
Thanks!!

I finally saw this show in London this summer after having seen several other productions of it in the US. It was my favorite. I got half price tickets ahead of time, booked on line and sat in the front row of the royal circle (first mezzanine)-- great seats.
Look for specials about May or June.

"Clearly no one on this site have ever heard of the musical.....too bad too sad"
HUH??? What on Earth do you mean? Were you upset because no one answered you question in 25 minutes? amazing . . . . .
Anyway - Phantom is no longer the hot ticket it once was (afterall it has been running for a generation). It isn't necessary to buy tickets ahead of time. Just watch for specials like the Mayor's theatre breaks, etc. Otherwise, just go to the 1/2 price TKTS booth on the day of performance, where it is usually available at 25% or sometimes 50% off.
