Why is it that the search function doesn't bring up a thread that I KNOW exists (because I started it and can find it by clicking on my screen name)? I posted a trip report called "Russia river cruise - trip report", but when I type Russia river cruise in the search box, it doesn't bring it up (frustrating because I can't tell friends to search for it). Am I doing something wrong or is there something wrong with the search function? Does it only search in the text of the message and not the title?

Here's the short answer - - any post that appears here since the l;ast week in June cannot be retrieved by the search function, due to a failure of the process called "indexing" which the Fodors staff need to fix.
