You will have to clarify what you are asking about - so you mean the Scott House in Rome, or the one south of London, or another Scott House somewhere else??

I've stayed there in '99 & '01, so not recently. I had gotten good deals in Feb for a single $35 & $40USD. But in March '02 they wanted $62, I booked the 3* Hotel Kennedy www.hotelkennedy.net 1 block away for $65. Also booked it in Mar03 for the same price. And I probably book in again for March.
Below is a snippet from a past post of mine from '01. Regards, Walter
"I've stayed there twice, it is a "Let's Go" recommended 2* hotel with alot of young backpackers but they usually aren't that noisy , I'm 47. They confirm quickly by e-mail and the staff is English speaking. The rooms aren't romantic but are modern, clean, bright and small (Spartan-like a dorm room). There is an elevator, 24hr manned desk (request that floor, far down the hall facing the courtyard [quieter]). The rooms have an ensuite bathroom (toilet, bidet, sink, shower), tv, phone, desk, safe. The b'fast is *very* light coffee, juice, crossant or bread."

Forgot! It's highly unlikely that they have their own tours. They are probably like all tourist hotels and just offer tours thru a local company for a commission.
IMO "good (bus) tours" is usually an oxymoron . Regards, Walter
