Scenic drive from Munich to Fussen?

We will be driving from Munich to Fussen in late May and staying 2 nights in Fussen. I have booked Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau Castles for the morning of the second day. Could you suggest a scenic drive from Munich to Fussen or around the Fussen area? I would love to see Linderhof, Garmisch, Oberammergau, Weis and the Zugspitze but I can't figure out in what order or which days. I've tried searching here but can't find anything specific. Any ideas?

Take the autobahn to Garmish and got up the cable car to the Zugspitze then backtrack a little going toware Oberammergau. Make a stop at the Ettal Monastary and SchlosLinderhof. Then on to Oberammergau for some wood carvings and then to WeissKirche, Europe's best rococo church. From there it is not too far on to Fussen.

Hi L,

You can see a map at www.viamichelin.com.

Do Munich to Oberammergau via Garmisch.

From Oberammergau you might want to take the scenic route to Reutte and then to Fussen.

You will be going through Austria and will have to buy a Road Tax sticker at the border for about 8E.
