Scandinavia in 10 days or less - can it be done?

In early March, no less? Can anybody suggest an itinerary? We want to fly into Bergen or Oslo, see Stockholm, drive the Oresund Bridge, visit Copenhagen, and maybe hop a plane to St. Petersburg to see the Hermitage. Are we crazy? Your comments are welcome. Thank you.

Three Scandinavian capitals in three days each: manageable, to the extent that you will have a good sample of what each city has to offer.

Scandinavia in ten days: no way.

Bring food with you; the cost of eating in restaurants is horrendous.

agree with PP about at least 3 days in capitals .
many nice self-serve rest. in Stockholm and Cop. are fine for lunch.
(and much cheaper)

Also bring booze if you drink.

I suggest taking an overnight ferry from Stockholm to Helsinki. The Silja ferries are magnificent. Great buffet dinners. Also a ferry to Tallinn from Helsinki. No visa needed for Estonia.

No - it's not possible. In 10 days you can spend a little time in 3 major cities (forget St Pet for this trip - and it's not Scandinavia anyway).

In descending order you will find the most to do /see in Stockholm, Copenhagen, then Oslo. And don't forget if you want to see fjords you need to head west and each time you change cities you will lose most of a day.

Although Oslo is not as scenic as its more sophisticated cousin Stockholm, its museums are fascinating. The Viking Ship museum, the KonTiki museum, and the Resistance museum at the fortress are not to be missed. We liked Oslo a lot better than Copenhagen.
