sarlat or beynac in June-help with accomodations
We will be visiting the Dordogne at the end of June. We plan on doing short day trips to all the sites in the area. We found a place with a breathtakingly beautiful view beside the Chateau Beynac. It checks off all our preferences (village setting, pool, private, historic house). We also found a lovely place about a 1-1.5km from Sarlat's historical centre. Not as charming but with a nice view of Sarlat and a more modern house. (almost half the price as the other one, which is definitely appealing).
we have read about all the traffic and congestion in and out of Sarlat and Beynac during July and August...Since we will be there late June this really concerns us and wonder if we should find accomodations more off the beaten track but that doesn't really appeal to us. (but neither does sitting in traffic on our holidays either). What do you think? will we avoid the worst of the throngs of visitors in June? Appreciate your help.

Thank you everyone for your recommendation. While Les Granges Hauts does look lovely, I neglected to mention that we are a family of 4 with 2 school aged boys. Les Granges doesn't appear to accomodate parties of 4. We also prefer to have a rental with kitchen facilities so we don't have to eat out every night. Either way, it sounds like we will likely avoid the worst of the traffic problems by travelling in June therefore staying in Sarlat or Beynac shouldn't be a big concern.
