Sardinia "must do" list, need help

I am leaving in 23 days for my wedding in Positano! I have been so busy with wedding planning (and still have more on the "to do" list) that I have not had time to do research for my honeymoon on Sardinia. I could really use some help making a list of things that we should do during our honeymoon. We will be spending about 4 days at the Stella Maris (south east) and about 4 days at Capo d' Orso (north). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Well, now I'm leaving in 4 days and I still don't know what I'm doing in Sardinia. I guess I'll read my DK travel guide on the flight and figure it out....

JG - From Capo d'Orso I'd recommend a trip across to La Maddalena. (You could combine this with Caprera if you're interested in Italian history (Garibaldi).

You could also take an island cruise to Spiaggia Rosa for a relaxing day.

If you have a car you could drive around the gulf to Baia Sardinia and the Costa Smeralda. Porto Cervo is where all the beautiful people park their yachts (- with prices to match!)

Capo Testa at Santa Teresa di Gallura is a photogenic beauty spot. You could also day-trip to Corsica from there.

Further down the coast, Castelsardo makes a pleasant stop.

Hope this helps and ... congratulations!

From the Stella Maris Hotel in Villasimius, you could drive up the coast to Costa Rey and Muravera, and explore the pretty mountainous region of the Monte Sette Fratelli inland. The coastline from Villasimius to Cagliari is also beautiful (and plenty of ARST buses ply this route, so you don't have to drive yourself). A little further north is the beautiful coastline near Santa Maria Navarrese.

Sardinia isn't a place with lots of things "to see". It's more of an overall experience.

Thank you all for the information. I was married two days ago in Positano and I just arrived at the Stella Maris today. Sardinia is BEAUTIFUL, well at least the water is Tomorrow we are going to drive along the coast and visit a few beaches that we passed today on the way to the hotel. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks again for the info. JG
