We will be going from Santorini to Mykonos on Wednesday, May 9th. I thought I had read somewhere on this board that there were not any ferries running on Wednesdays. Is that correct? Any suggestions? Of course, we could fly which we are doing on all the other legs of the trip, but I thought taking the ferry would be a nice change from all the airplanes.

Even brotherleelove needs to sleep occasionally. Here is the Flying Cat 4 timetable: http://www.ferries.gr/hfd/. Note under "No Sailing" it includes 09/05, so it looks like you will need to find another way that day. You can probably go from Santorini to Paros or Naxos, then change ferries for Mykonos.

Until the ferry companies publish their schedules later this spring it's difficult to give you a good connection from Paros or Naxos to Mykonos. As I recall, the Sea Jet 2 leaves Paros around 1100 or 1130 for Mykonos.

Doing some research while you're waiting for brotherleelove to reply. The May 2007 schedule shows Blue Star Naxos departing Santorini at 0700, arriving Paros at 1045. Last year's Hellenic Seaways timetable showed Highspeed 2 departing Paros at 1200, and arriving at Mykonos 1305 on Wednesdays. Needless to say, the Hellenic 2007 timetable may be different, but assuming it stays the same, that will get you from Santorini to Mykonos on May 9th.
