Am SO glad you made it to so many places. How did you travel to the towns. Isn't Orvieto's duomo gorgeous!

We went by train to Orvieto and by bus to Siena then San. G. and bus all the way back to Florence. The duomo was gorgeous! I really loved the entire town. It is a "got to go back" place!

I enjoyed both places but Orvieto was just gorgeous. The comments re the Duomo are right and the town itself is interesting. There is a fabulous old theatre there ( all the seats are in boxes) and you can do a tour of it. As for the San Gim gelati, yes we went to the "World champion" and we still talk about it! Have fun!

My son is telling everyone he knows about me eating gelato three times a day. Well, I did on some days. And he got gelato once a day...the smallest cup. How stupid is that? We walked enough to work off any calories, so I took advantage.
