San Francisco - Bay Area GTG April 29, 2006
Mark your calendars: April 29, 2006. Visitors, there is an easy public transportation connection by bus which I intend to take, so everybody can join me.
Of course local help is needed as to when, where and how. And no, I'm not posting this in error as some Bay Areans have this forum bookmarked and don't open US site.
"April 29 - Petaluma Butter and Egg Days Festival, Family Fun: Join the citizens of Petaluma in a celebration of yesterday, today and tomorrow. This event consistently draws a broad based and family-oriented crowd of over 30,000 from all parts of the North Bay Area. The main component is a parade with over 2,000 participants strolling twelve blocks through the downtown streets of Petaluma. The Butter & Egg Days Parade and Celebration is held in Historic Downtown Petaluma, CA."
From what I remember the parade is funny for most parts, there is a cute little chicken contest, parade of vintage cars and vintage fair - it takes 2 days, so you may consider staying overnight.
For future information, suggestions, jokes, whatever you don’t feel like posting - I’m still at [email protected]
