I have enjoyed the thread because it has been both informative and entertaining. In addition to discussing safety issues, we have brought up the fact that a word such as "fanny," which is considered so polite in the US can have such a different meaning in the UK. It must sound very funny to the Brits to hear us using that word so casually. I'm glad to have learned this from my British friends last year so I can be more careful not to offend people in the UK by using that word.
