We will be spending April in Prague visiting our daughter,who is working there.We plan to go to Venice,Bruges & Holland for the tulips. Suggestions as to planning a route [air;air+ train;air + car} would be great.I have checked hotel entries here so I feel accomodations prepared

Air travel would be the backbone of your travel plans - - the website www.whihbudget.com will direct you to the airlines that serve Prague-Amsterdam and Amsterdam-Venice (Treviso) - - or alternatively, Verona.

I assume that you are thinking to do these added trips as a triangle. It does raise the uestion of departing from Venice rather than needing to close the Venice-Prague (segment in the) triangle.

If you need to return to Prague, then you might consider flying Venice-Bratislava ("Vienna East" - - only 45 minute bus ride from downtown Vienna); from Vienna, there is frequent train service to Prague; it's a little over 4 hours and you can find the fares at www.railsver.com and (maybe only partial?) schedules at www.raileurope.com - - I would not genrally recommend purchasing your train tickets from RailEurope. Just wait until you get to Vienna to buy them.

Thanks,guys!!!I should have stated,as Rex surmised,that we indeed need to return to Prague,either from Amsterdam or Venice/Verona.Preafer to do the whole thing by air,if not terribly costly.we have no preference as to whether we go to Amsterdam or Venice first.Any thoughts??Will check-out Which budget!!!!!
