Rome - Which Catholic Mass

Heading to Rome, and am a Roman Catholic. We're staying by the Borghese and would like to attend a memorable Catholic mass. Any suggestions on which church and how to determine mass times?

Can't beat St. Peter's for high church. Can't help you with times. We stumble upon these things when we walk the city. Try in web - never know! Sharon

There is a Mass behind the main altar at St. Peter's Basilica at 10:30 AM, I believe (please check to verify). The mass is in Latin and Italian, and gets crowded very quickly (I would arrive by 10:00). I believe there are usually several bishops in attandance. When I attended last year, there was a full choir and organ at this mass. Of course, I don't believe the pope ever says this mass.

I'm not sure how up-to-date it is, but you can check for mass times on this website (http://www.santasusanna.org/popeVatican/basilicas.html). The only one I've been to at St. Peter's however is the one in the back chapel (Chapel of the Chair). The mass was very impressive.
