Rome to Sorrento/Positano/Praiano/Amalfi/Ravello/Salerno Travel Options

More great information, now I think I'm a little confused. I'm not sure if this new information applies to me or not.
We are scheduled to fly into Naples and arrive around noon. We are planning to take the Curreri bus from Naples airport directly to Sorrento (tickets on the bus). From Sorrento we will take the Sita bus to Amalfi (tickets at newstand).
I was looking into options to get from Rome to Amalfi just in case we miss our connection flight and have to fly into Rome instead of Naples. We will be bringing carry on luggage only, one less thing to worry about. It's good to know that if we end up in Rome we will still be able to make it to Amalfi. Hopefully everything will go as originally planned. If not, I have all your helpful advice. Thank you.
