Rome: Room with a view

I've researched dozens of apartments and visited what feels like a hundred hotel websites and am still undecided. So far, the Grand Hotel de la Minerva stands out, largely because of the stunning view, especially from the rooftop bar/restaurant. Which hotels have your favorite views, preferably in the Piazza Navona/Campo di Fiore/Pantheon areas?

While I am at it, someone recommended the Regina Hotel Baglioni in the Vio Veneto area. Any comments? It looks like the location is further out than I'd want to be.

"Stunning view" at the Minerva? You might get a fair view of the Bernini elephant and the back of the Pantheon if you have a north facing room, but I wouldn't call those stunning. The west facing rooms at the Del Senato do have a stunning view of the front of the Pantheon, as would the south facing rooms at the Albergo Abruzzi. The Regina Baglioni is a lovely old world style hotel, no views to speak of, and its location on the Via Veneto is not as central as the other hotels I've mentioned; but unlike many posters, I've never found the Via Veneto to be inconvenient.

What about the Hotel Abbruzi, it certainly has a good view of the Pantheon.
Hope it is a good hotel, we have reserved 2 rooms there Nov 1st for 4 nights.
Have been to Rome lots of times, but the first time at this hotel.

Thanks Grinisa. I visited the Minerva website photographs and the photos of the view certainly fit my definition of stunning. Determined to overcome my hurt feelings (I have a special affection for elephants)I looked up Abergo del Senato. I forgive you. You are absolutely right, the views are even more spectacular. Thanks.
Del, I'm on my way to check out the Abruzzi. Have a wonderful trip!
