Question: Albergo del Senato Hotel in Rome
We just made a reservation for hotel Albergo del Senato Hotel in Rome (near Pantheon). I requested a room with a balcony but forgot to mention with a view of the square. Should I fax/call them OR do all the rooms with a balcony overlook the square? We requested a standard double room, do we need to get a mini suite in order to get a balcony room? I booked on venere.com Thanks!

Stayed there in Oct. We had a "balcony" but it was just out in a very small walled-in back-alley type place (where AC units etc are). Didn't add any value to the room.

I don't think I remember any balconies overlooking the Pantheon or the square it's in (but there are windows with great views).

We reserved directly with the hotel for 3 rooms and requested views of the Pantheon. They said, "we'll see what we can do about the view". Of course, none of our 3 rooms ended up with a view. Don't know if you have to get lucky or make a stink to get the view.

Also, the rooms were very different in size.

Nice hotel, helpful staff, decent breakfasts, great location.

Actually we had a large balcony with chairs and a view of the Pantheon! Spectacular.

It was the corner room on the sixth floor closest to the Pantheon.

I would email them directly with the request.
