Rome limo shuttle price quote

We are staying near policlinco metro(line B,second stop) and were quoted 40e. Is this the going rate? I know they usually charge 35e. The share shuttle seems more and you have to go around.

Are you arriving late at night? Which website did you use? I just looked at their site and the price is 35 Euro to central Rome, with a supplement for very late at night.

The website clearly states 35 euro to central Rome..I am not familiar with your location..perhaps it is out of the center a bit..we paid 35 euro a few months ago for two of us arriving in late morning...we were pleased with their service..

..forgot to say I took the shared shuttle once and would not do it again..too much time wasted picking up other riders...time I would rather spend in Rome itself...

Well, our hotel is near the second stop(line B) from the termini station. I would think that is considered center of Rome. I guess, I have to agree to the price. I think taxi would be more.

Taxi is 40E, fixed, for trips between FCO and central Rome. Be sure to get an official taxi (SPQR shield on the door) and confirm the 40E fare with the cabbie before you take off.

mrsjoujou, just so you know, Policlinco is nowhere near the center of Rome. That's probably why it is more expensive. You will be a long way from all the things you want to see.

Are you arriving on a Sunday or a Holiday?

I could have sworn that at one time (not now though) their website mentioned a €5 surcharge for Sundays/Holidays?

But perhaps you are just outside their definition of 'Central Rome'? Regards, Walter
