I ditto Jody's endorsement. We used this service in April and it was easy, timely and affordable. You don't often hear those words associated with vacation planning!

Ha! I know it sounds like an infomercial but they gave us outstanding service.

I left my purse in their car and they brought it right back to me in a hurry. The driver also gave us a little history and pointed sites to us. I can't say enough good things about limoservicerome!

I used them based on the recommendation of this board in March. The driver arrived promptly at 4:30 a.m., nicely dressed, polite and very professional. Highly recommend them.

Hey, Gary, aren't you almost ready to leave for Rome???

Limoservicerome is absolutely terrific! I used their services on my last two trips, and they were simply wonderful to deal with! (No kickbacks have been given for my endorsement, either, I'm sorry to say.)

Buon Viaggio, Tutti!

Hiya Bookchick, You are correct.. We leave in 2 days and can hardly wait. I made a reservation for airport pickup with Sandro from www.Romalimo.com. Never used him before but had several good reviews of his services. He actually called me this morning to corfirm and to tell he would be outside of customs with a sign with my name on it. I will give a full report when I come back. I saw on one of your other posts to tell the gentleman at Hotel San Carlo you sent them. May we do that also? I booked there because of all the positives I read about, and mostly yours.2 days and counting the minutes...

Gary, most definitely! I have a small list of folks who're going on my recommendation, and you & Archie are on it! My local buddies, Carol Hollenshead and her husband Bruce Wilson are leaving I think on Sunday, too, so you may run into them while you're there. I did give Alberto at the front desk a little list when I checked out in April of the folks I've referred, so with any luck, he'll have it, but I can drop a line to him to have him recall.

Hope you have a lovely trip!

Kismet:

I see you are doing Rome before going to the Cinque Terre - we'll be doing the C.T. first, then train to Rome for a few days.

Like you, we have rented apartments (two because there are six of us)in the Cinque Terre and plan to enjoy our balconies that overlook the sea also. Which town are you staying in? We'll be in Manarola.

Like I told you yesterday, have a great trip (and don't forget that glass of wine for my birthday!)

Kismet, if you go to the web site for limoservicerome.com, you can reserve, and Andrea will e-mail you a confirmation. They will want the # of people in your party, your airline & flight #, expected arrival time, city you're flying out of prior to arrival in Rome, and the name of the hotel where you'll be staying. The e-form is very easy, but if you have problems or questions, there's a large space for them, and Andrea will get back to you.

I am sooo jealous! And your grandchildren are soooo lucky!

Drink some wine for me, too, okay?

Jody. they are two different limo services. I had several chats with Sandro that has www.romalimo.com and
felt he seemed very sincere and professional. The other limo service has always gotten high marks for good service here on the Fodors site. I will let you know how it goes. Sandro actually called me on my cellular this morning to confirm pickup time. I was impressed....
