Rome Hotels have you stayed in these?

Okay, after several hours 20+ I have 4 hotels with availability in Rome during the time we are going. Has anyone stayed in these hotels and what was your opinion?
Hotel Piave - In the Via Venetto area
Hotel Baltic - also in Via Venetto
Hotel Carlo Magno
Hotel Donnatello

Please help?

Hi, I have stayed at the Baltic. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, it is on the second and fourth floor of an office block. The Reception and breakfast room/Bar are on the second floor. The rooms were spotlessly clean, we had a twin room with a tv and minibar. The bathroom was small but spotlessly clean with a sink, wc, bidet and shower. The breakfast was croissants, danish pastries, tea coffee and orange juice. The hotel is situated on the Via Venetto which is busy during the day but not at night. Baltic is about a leisurly 10 min walk from Termini but through a residential and office block area in a north east direction on a map, not the densely populated area south of the station. It is on the main bus route and 5 mins from the Metro. We looked on the internet for a cheap hotel for hours like yourselves and were glad we picked the Baltic. If I can answer any more question let me know.

Thanks SaraL, I appreciate the information. Sounds like this is what we are looking for.

No problem Clea. I think I meant to say a North West direction of Termini on a map. People will probably tell you to stay nearer the Spanish Steps or Piazza navona but we couldn't find any at the right price.

Stayed at the top of the Spanish Steps (Hotel Intercontinental Rome) and the bottom of the Spanish Steps (Inn at the Spanish Steps)...loved loved both hotels, especially the Inn (fantabulous!!!). Can't wait to stay there again.

The Carlo Magno is not centrally located. www.carlomagnohotel.com It has a "sister" hotel the Laurentia that is in a better(?) more central location. .If you scroll down on the carlo magno website you will see a link for the laurentia
