We stayed at Hotel Cervia right near the Termini station. Cost for one room with private bath was 85 euro. We stayed two nights. Everything was excellent.

We're staying at a 2* a few steps from the Pantheon in a double w/private bath & breakfast for just over 100. The company owns a few places but doesn't list prices on line so you have to email them. http://www.casaromana.it/

Otherwise, check out www.venere.com
Here's a discount code for 4% if you use venere.com BENVDQG

Hi

I haven't stayed there but the B&B Blue Rose - http://www.bbbluerose.com - strikes me as good value. So too B&B Annarosa - http://www.annarosabb.com.

Hi,

I'm staying at the San Jouan B&B in Rome and it looks really nice - for May my rate is 117 euros and it's less than one mile from the Colosseum - a ten minute walk.

Also, it's ranked at #18 for B&Bs Bye babe!
on TripAdvisor.

Good luck!

I stayed at the Hotel Urbis March 04 for 2 nights for 84 E total.. you could see it from inside Termini Station, they offer with or without bathrooms..I felt very safe, it was on the 2nd floor, super convenient, and free internet.I would stay there again. Try Venere.com.
