hi again. we are also looking for a place to stay in rome for around 100 euros a night ... is this possible?

In a city where the median is at least twice that, there are still choices for 100 euro a night (double with private bath); the website www.venere.com lists dozens (checking arbitrarily for March 28).

Most are in the Termini area or nearby Esquilino; in general, none are well-known names, but there are a few that are listed as three-stars, such as

and at least one or two two-stars that have been mentioned here or are in "better" locations, such as
