Rome Apartments - A night in Rome

I'm looking at renting an apartment over Xmas in Rome (me & 16 yo son). There is a wide selection of apartments / owners / companies, most of which have on-line reviews.

I'm looking at renting from "A night in Rome". It's family run with 3 apartments they rent out (started in 2007 I think). All seems fine except I can't find any reviews online.

Does anyone have any experience, in particular with their apartment "Insula" ? Thanks in advance

I don't know anything about that company, but my husband and I just spent this past Christmas in ROme - it was one of the best vacations of our lives, Rome at Christmas was truly special - and we used the company RealRome. Tim was our contact and the email address is [email protected]. HE was SO helpful, met us at the apartment even though our flight didn't get in until 8:30 at night, told us his favorite restaurants nearby (all suggestions were spot on), and answered a bunch of questions via email prior to our arrival. The apartment was exactly as it appeared in all pictures and was clean and had a book of maps and tips. It really was one of our best rental experiences (we have rented apartments in about 10 cities by now and this was a good one) Enjoy Rome!

Another vote for checking out RealRome and Tim Pearson. We had a great experience with this agency which gets consistently good reviews on this forum and Trip Advisor

The location of the Insula apartment from A Night in Rome looks good. We stayed in the old ghetto right across the Tiber from this neighborhood and walked to and from Trastevere over the Isola Tibertina many times. I could not see reviews for A Night in Rome apartments either--but I liked their blogspot....

One more vote for Tim and realrome. My mom and I just stayed at this apartment by Campo dei Fiori, and found it to be great.

Another vote for Tim. I ended up using Sleep In Iaty but only because of the availablity. I would not hesitate to recommend or use Real Rome. Tim was great.

Look at www.slowtrav.com - they have many reviews of Rome apartments.

I also would recommend Tim Pearson at RealRome.
