I am back from the trip and the apartment in rome was the best. I was at the via degli spagnoli aparment, although at first go , it looked as if we are in some remote place , but it is indeed very near to piazza navona and trevi and spanish steps. Though metro is around 10 min walk. A good neighbourhood.
The apartment had everything , and it was not difficult to find the apartment.
