Rome Airport : Train directly to Florence?

We are flying into Rome early and are starting our trip in Florence (ending in Rome because our flights are roundtrip from Rome).

What is the best way to get from Leonardo Da Vinci to Florence?

We wanted to take a train but weren't sure if we had to train it from airport to Termini and then Termini to Florence or if we can train it direct from airport to Florence train station?

Thank you!!!

Hello ssc, there is no direct train from the airport to Florence. You will need to take the train from the airport to the Termini Station and then take the train from there to Florence. Enjoy your trip!
