My friend and I are staying in Rome for 3 nights and are looking for a place near the Pantheon that have english speaking receptionist. Anyone know of any place good? Will pay around 100 euros.

Hi Caz,

We stayed at the Pensione Parlamento.
It's mentioned in a number of guide books. We liked it. The location was ideal ... near the Pantheon, the Piazza Navona, the Spanish Steps, the Fountain of Trevi. Everything was within walking distance, the room was clean and large, and the staff was helpful. Also, it was reasonably priced.

Have a great trip.
Kathleen

100 euros is a bit low for Rome , at about 150 euros you can find some great places. around Piazza nAVONA is a great spot. I will check my journals and post something.

Hi,
We also stayed at Parlamento and had a good experience. Do ask for the lower level room facing the quiet inner courtyard, though. We asked and got the rooftop room. Even though our room had the direct access to rooftop garden, the view wasn't all that special and it was right next to a busy street. The lower level room was about 15 Euro cheaper and more renovated than our rooftop room. We paid 135 and 120 for both rooms. Staff speaks english well and were friendly. Location was great, within 10min walking distance from Trevi, Spanish Steps, Pantheon..
Have fun.

Hi Caz. You can get a room for around 100 euros at the Hotel Primavera, at the south end of Piazza Navona, not all that far from the Pantheon. The family who runs it speaks English.
