It is our 25th wedding anniversary and we are going at the end of April 2012 to Amsterdam, Bruges and Luxemburg. We will stay in Amsterdam and will do different day trips. Any recommendations on a romantic boutique hotel or B&B in the center….

No but keep in mind Queens Day, Apr 30, is a huge citywide party and festival attracting zillions of Dutch of all ages - to witness Queens Day to me was one of the greatest thrills in my decades of European travel - plan to be there if Mardi Gras type festivities and crowds appeal to you - really something for all but also all of central Amsterdam will be shut down to public transit.
