Can anyone recommend a romantic restaurant in London? Surprising my wife with a birthday trip here next month and would like to include a romantic dinner in the plans.<BR><BR>thanks!

This also depends on what you term romantic.<BR>Rules for old-fashioned coziness and classic elegance at the same time.<BR>The Criterion for formal and glittering elegance.<BR>Maggie Jones for old-fashioned charm eating by candlelight on pine tables surrounded by dried flowers and antiques.<BR>Mimi's suggestions are great too. Many might add Le Caprice's sister restaurant, The Ivy, but I consider it more of a zoo, than a romantic spot.<BR>

If it still open, I took a date to Chez Nico.

Bistro Benitos Italian Restaraunt on Earls Court in London. Nice family owned place. Enjoy! (try the lasagna!)
