My husband and I are going away for a last minute getaway. We don't usually stay in expensive hotels, but this time we'd like to splurge. I'd like to stay somewhere central in Naples. In Rome, I am more flexible.

We stayed recently in a Naples hotel that I would consider romantic. It is also a good value:

The Constanopoli, right in the historic center, is also nice; it was more expensive when we were there last spring.

I thought about staying there but ultimately decided upon the Alabardieri because of the area in which it is located.

you will not be disappointed at the Hotel Mozart or the Raphael in Rome.
