Romantic Florence Restaurant?

Help - need a recommendation for a romantic restaurant in Florence for a first wedding anniversary dinner - prefer the Duomo area but open to any great choices.

What would the average cost for dinner be at either of these restaurants-assuming a bottle of wine, dinner & dessert. We will be celebrating our 19th anniversary in Florence - so also
looking for suggestions. Thanks

I LOVED Enotecca Pinchiorri= it's in a little house on a side residential street- you will need a taxi=

It is fixed price and includes all the accompanying wines with each course-

Service is fabulous as is the food-
Very romantic=divided into little rooms for dinner===

I can't speak from personal experience, but if you search Pinchiorri here on this forum, you will find at least a few dissenting opinions that claim it is resting on its laurels, or has even started to go downhill.

I will offer an opinion that going "up th hill" (to Fiesole) to eat at the restaurant of (the hotel) Villa San Michele would make a great choice (I can vouch for this one personally). It wouldn't be an exorbitant cab ride, or you can even get there on the bus.

How great to be celebrating a first anniversary in florence - - hope you both still feel like newlyweds, whatever your age.

Best wishes,

Rex
Hi Cary!
I'd also consider Di Vinus, in the Oltrarno. Weather permitting, the covered patio in the rear of the restaurant would be very nice for an anniversary dinner. Congratulations!
