Hi SandyBrit. No you didn't miss the Xmas report, it's still coming. It may be next Xmas before I get it written, however! I still have Kent/Sussex and Italy to write up. My e-mail is [email protected]. If you send me a message, I'll return the packing list. It was like planning the D-Day invasion to figure out what we would need.

I hadn't twigged this was last September till you mentioned the awful Margaret Davidson story. I don't know if you realised the crash happened about two miles south of Adderbury, on the road you'd probably used to get around.

There's an awful lot more to the story than Mrs Davidson's extraordinary letter and the judge's reaction to it(which, sadly, didn't extend to keeping the killer locked up for the rest of his life). If you wren't buying the papers while you over here (Shame!) catch up at www.tiny.cc/puzha and www.tiny.cc/S2oeH

Hi flanneruk. Thanks for the additional info. on Margaret Davidson. It boggles the mind that although the judge cried, he didn't use his discretion to impose a longer sentence. I can't believe that he would think this man would be 'healed' or 'cured' in two years. It's hard to fathom how Margaret's family could absorb this grief. Take care.
