Rialto Markets in Venice

My darling spouse doesn't like to get up very early on vacation. How early do we need to get to the Rialto Markets for the whole experience?

We got to the market after 10, it was fine. I do not like to wake up early while on vacation.

That will work. What I saw online made me think we needed to be there before 8AM.

How about leaving your darling spouse in the sack, going out, and returning with some delicious baked goodies? Aurelio Zen always does that in the detective novels.

Yes do the goodie number and then return when she is with you. Score some points - then have lunch nearby at Bancogiro 122 San Polo Campo San Giacometto or Do Mori 429 San Polo Calle dei Do Mori

If I get out of bed while she is sleeping, she accuses me of "running away." But I will check out those restaurants.

10 am will be fine, but there are several nice cafes near the market where you can have breakfast , including one, if I remember rightly, that does a variety of hot chocolates.

if you are staying in an apartment, remember to take your shopping bag.
