Revised Itinerary.. Help Please

Hi Everyone. Have revised my itinerary a few times thanks to everyones help.. This is what we have finally come up with..

Fly into London
4 Nights London
Fly to Paris
Paris 4 Nights
Train to Nice
Nice 4 Nights
Train to Venice
Venice 3 Nights
Train to florance
3 Nights Florance
Drive or Bus to Sienna
3 Nights Sienna ***Or any suggestions on a town in tuscany??
Train to Rome
Rome 4 Nights
Train/Bus/Drive to Amalfi Coast
4 Nights Amalfi
Train/Bus/Drive to Rome
1 Nights Rome fly out.

Any suggestions on if we are spending to much time in any of the above or too less??
What do you all think about driving to Amalfi??
Is it easy to see other towns in Tuscany if we have our base in sienna??

Thanks

Looks pretty good to me, though I wouldn't spend more time in Nice than in Venice.

I, too, wonder why so much time in Nice. I'd drop a night there and add it to almost any one of your other destinations.
Also, will you have a car in Siena? If not, I'm not sure how easy it is to see other towns in Tuscany from there. Since I've only gone there with a car, I'm not sure what's the best city/town to base yourself for seeing the area via public transportation.

From what I've heard and researched, it seems easiest to take the Eurostar from London to Paris than to fly.

Do you know what the difference in Travelling time is??? $$ looks like its cheaper to fly from London Luton straight to Paris CDG airport.. Was able to get a Fare for 6.90 Pound.. and 125 euro on the Eurostar..

It will take more time to fly than Eurostar, esp if you have to fly out of London Luton. I believe there are cheaper ways to get a cheaper Eurostar ticket, and I've read that a R/T ticket is sometimes cheaper than 1-way. Do a search for Eurostar here and you should be able to get some ideas.

Rose-

You will be better off asking you last question on a brand new post, with a more "eye-catching" topic such as "touring Tuscany - questions" or similar.

Also, such a question is a recurring question on this board, so if you do a search here (type "tuscanay car&quot in the search box above, you can find some answers. Sorry, I haven't been to the hilltowns of Tuscany yet, so can't help you here.

Rose79: You have a great itinerary. But, if you can manage it and are comfortable with it, get a car for Tuscany. It will give you many more options and opportunities to explore this area. Pick up the car as you leave Florence (you can get it at an edge of the city agency) and drive the hour to siena. You can then drive to Rome, again, leaving the car at an edge of the citry agency office and cab or bus in (we cabbed; cost us about $25 right to the hotel). Have a great trip.

I would give Nice two nights unless you have specific activities in mind that would require the extra day.
