Resturants

Cost of the average meal in the local restaurants not in the touristy restuarants?

OK - mind giving us any hint about what city/country you are asking about?????

(And even if we did know where, this question really doesn't have a useful answer - most anywhere, prices in "local" restaurants will will cover a VERY wide range)

janis is right, but OP just started posting today, and the other questions seem to be about Spain.

Now that the "background check" has been conducted, here's what might be some more useful feedback that will help get you answers even from the busiest of readers who are tied up curing world hunger:

You'll get better answers if you include a location in your title.

The words "local" and "touristy" are pretty general and you have to wonder how many people who regularly post here are going to restaurants that "tourists" wouldn't be aware of.

It might also be helpful to include a possible range of prices; what you consider expensive others may consider economical.

Welcome to the Board.

no need to get testy, I thought that providing 'Spain' as a clue would indeed help the person/newbie get more useful information. Otherwise, your response was remarkably the same as janis's, but longer. But a third attempt for a responder to be helpful can't hurt.

Here's another tip- use the search feature- enter in Madrid and Restaurants, etc. Check the Destinations section for restaurant reviews. Do a little legwork before you post and you may already have the answers you require.
