OK - mind giving us any hint about what city/country you are asking about?????
(And even if we did know where, this question really doesn't have a useful answer - most anywhere, prices in "local" restaurants will will cover a VERY wide range)

Now that the "background check" has been conducted, here's what might be some more useful feedback that will help get you answers even from the busiest of readers who are tied up curing world hunger:
You'll get better answers if you include a <b> location </b> in your title.
The words "local" and "touristy" are pretty general and you have to wonder how many people who regularly post here are going to restaurants that "tourists" wouldn't be aware of.
It might also be helpful to include a possible range of prices; what you consider expensive others may consider economical.

no need to get testy, I thought that providing 'Spain' as a clue would indeed help the person/newbie get more useful information. Otherwise,your response was remarkably the same as janis's, but longer. But a third attempt for a responder to be helpful can't hurt.
