Zlata Ribica, (Conkarjevo Nabrezje 5-7) We had two great meals here...very authentic! At lunch it was filled with local business men/women. Save room for dessert!!
Another restaurant that we liked, located 7 k's from the city...Pri Poko.
One to avoid! Pri Vitezu...it is now riding on it's good name!! Nice staff, but very mediocre food!

Had a wonderful dinner as AS, as suggested here before we went. Beautiful in the garden if nice weather, but the inside looked spectacular also. No menu, but we were asked "fish" or "meat" menu and were put into very capable hands. A wonderful dinner (we did the "fish" -- several courses plus meringue tortes with blueberry ice cream) and excellent wine for about 100 euro for two including a generous extra tip.
Also had excellent Italian at Rotous (town hall), including warm pear with goat cheese, veal medallians wrapped in pancetta and sage on spinach -- "granny's mushroom soup", and roasted kid with potatoes. With the same pinot noir as the night before it was 75 euro.

Hi there,
Agree with the previous poster on Pri Vitezu. They haven't changed their menu in months and it is getting tired. We went to Pri Florianju the other day and had a great meal. It is right across the street from Spajza (another past its glory). For the meat eaters out there, try Chad (at Pod Rosnikom) and Sofra. Serbian restaurants that specialize in grilled meats.
Cheers!
