Restaurant reservation Paris

I sent a reservation request last week to Au Bon Accuiel (or however you spell it) for an anniversary dinner in June. I have not gotten a response and am wondering if that is usual or should I resend? I did it via their website. I did get an automatic response back saying that I would recieve an email confirmation, but so far, nothing. Any advice?

I hope to eat there in August ... if they are open. Lovely little place in a lovely little street. I spied the Asia/Chinese place a few doors down as well.......Mmmmmmmm

I read on Chowhound recently that the Chef and key kitchen staff at Au Bon Acceuil have moved on and "it's not what it was" now.

You might want to check your computer's spam folder.

I just got an e-mail back today. Yes, I read the same thing on Chowhound. I think I will stick with the reservation. Perhaps the kitchen will improve by mid June, plus we are not huge foodies so we may not know the difference. Plus this restaurant is right across the street from our apartment so it is convenient. Thanks!

OK, now I am fretting about Acceuil. Should I switch? How about Cafe Constant? I want something pretty and good food but about 35E per person. Another suggestion? Thanks!

Stick with Au Bon Acceuil for that special dinner even if it cost a few euros more. I especially like the fact you can toddle or wobble home just across the street! Lucky people!

We've eaten at Constant twice; do yourself a favor and go there. It was fabulous; the people friendly and food incredible. Folks we've met this week have NOT been impressed with AuBon
but it is your call. If I had more time, I'd eat more at Constant's restaurants...there are three I think, but we liked Cafe Constant for all the local scene- people talking to one another..like being in a crowd of foodies. It was a highlight of this week.
