Reed Restaurant in Paris
After reading about Reed Restaurant on this board, I would like to give it a try next month. There's not much out there on the Internet about this place. I have the street address - but I am wondering if there is a website or phone number to make reservations. Is Reed open for lunch and dinner, or just dinner? Any information will be helpful.

bab, I think someone who knows better than I will reply to your question, but there's probably not that much out there because the place is fairly new.
Pagesjuanes.fr perhaps? yep, here you go:

Pretty much everything you need to know.

I'd stay away from sites like TripAdvisor. Way to many rave reviews in the U.S. for places like Applebee's, the worst rated chain restaurant by Consumer Reports.

You might've already located Catherine's email address, but here it is anyway, in case you want to try reservations that way:

I dined there with Joan Grace in November. Loved it. Catherine Reed is a delight and I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

We ate at Reed two weeks ago and loved it - really loved everything about it: food, ambience, the physical plant and certainly the charming chef/owner, Catherine Reed. Reed is open for dinner just Wed.-Sat. We made reservations via email prior to leaving the States. Enjoy! (If you click on my name, you should be able to find my trip report about Reed, among other things.)

JMK38 - What a challenge to take a trip with a broken leg! I guess it makes your slow down and appreciate everything more. Thanks for the vote for Reed - and thanks for letting me know that it is not open every day. We're going to try to get there after we are finished visiting the Army museum and Rue Cler. Can't wait ... just about 5 weeks to go!

I should clarify: Reed is open for lunch Tues-Sat, but dinner only on Wed-Sat. Right around the corner from rue Cler. As to traveling with a broken leg, certainly not the preferred mode of travel, but my husband and I both feel this was one of our best trips yet, if not the best, and we believe that is due largely to the slower pace (and less crowded itinerary) forced on us by my injury!
