Restaurant on Seine?

I was looking at a poster's photographs online a couple of weeks ago and there was a picture showing someone at a restaurant that looked like it was right alongside the Seine. Does anyone know the name of this restaurant and the location? It looked so wonderful to be right alongside the water. Merci!!

Hi luv,

The quais along the Seine have many restaurants. Can you be more specific?

Hey Ira!

Unfortunately, I can't be more specific. I just saw a photograph online of someone sitting outside at a table and the Seine was RIGHT THERE! As I recall from walking along the Seine, at least where I was walking, there were no restaurants right down alongside the water. That's the best I can do right now..............

Any ideas?

Perhaps Les Bookinists, or another restaurant near it?

> there were no restaurants right down alongside the water ..

That's true, it's hard to imagine Paris restaurant right by the seine. They are usually across the street from the Seine. Maybe boat café/restaurants (which don't move)? There a couple of such boat by the Notre Dame.

There's a fairly large boat right on the water near the Quai des Augustins. We had a drink there once but didn't stay for dinner.

Was there a bridge in the photo? Somewhere on the Isle St. Louis?

Near the Gare de Lyon in Bercy is an old Barge that has been revamped .. now La Barge restaurant..which sits docked on the Seine.

I have no memory of any restaraunts right by the water, perhaps this "restaurant" was for the photo, ad? or a special occasion but not really a restaurant?

Les Bookinistes and Laperouse are right across the street from the water on Quai des Grands Augustins.

There are restaurants on the Quai des Orfevres, on the Ile de la Cite'.
