Restaurant in Prague with river view?

Could someone please give me the name of a restaurant in Prague with an absolutely beautiful view of the Vlatava River? I will be in Prague in July, so outdoor dining would be doable. Thanks, John G.

John,
The classic destination would be the Kampa Park, hard by Charles Bridge. Pricey by Czech standards (ie Western European by price) and very good if not spectacular cooking. Lovely ambience, great views.

Suggest you check out www.kampapark.com

and search this site for it too.

For me the "beautiful view" of the Vlatava in Prague includes the Charles Bridge and the city.

You'll find information, a picture and a link to the web address for the restaurant Cihelna on my VT page at:

HI
Allegro, in the Four Seasons Hotel, has some of the best food I've had anywhere.
At the far end of the restaurant, a few tables have a lovely view of the river and Prague Castle.

Another that I've read has lovely views but I haven't eaten there:

Altho I love Kampa and I love eating there, I would not say it is a gorgeious view of the river. It is very near the river, but it is a group of buildings around an open space. I don't remember that any restaurants are on the river side of these buildings, but I might be wrong.

I might have to retract my statement. My description is of Kampa to the south of Charles Bridge. If you go to the north of Charles Bridge (still on Kampa, I guess) there probably are restaurants on the river bank.
